Sinless Cookies Recipe

At my house we love cookies! Recently I have been looking for better stuff to eat and came across these. Today Evie and I decided to bake up a batch. Check out how it went.

To make 8 cookies you will need:

1 cup of oats
2 ripe bananas
A heaped tablespoon of peanut butter
1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
*I decided to make a double batch*

1) Get your helper.

 2) Chop your banana into small pieces and mash it up.

3) Add both the mashed banana and the cup of oats into a large mixing bowl and stir together.
Once the oats and banana are combined, mix in the heaped tablespoon of peanut butter.

4) Stir in half a cup of dark chocolate chips.

5) Separate the mixture into small balls on a baking tray lined with grease-proof paper and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.

They came out great. Yum!

Holiday Fun

Evie was very excited for Christmas this year. We played a lot of Christmas music and made our place festive. After we put our tree up, she always made sure the lights where on. Oh course our tree went without ornaments this year, due to her and the cats. This season they knocked the tree over about 5 times.

So excited I got her a doll

We got to go to my aunt's Christmas party. It was a pretty big deal because this was the 30th one and Evie's 1st time being there. Evie had fun and was pretty well behaved. We do an ornament exchange each year and she got a cowboy riding a horse ornament. She loves it!

At the party

For Christmas, we all made the trip to Alton IL. Unfortunately after a rough night, we were running on little sleep. I had to drive us up there and I'd say that was interesting. I much prefer my tiny car and I find his car to be too big. Once there Evie got to see her cousins and Grandma. Evie sure has gotten the hang of opening presents! She even had to help other people open theirs. She got lots of great presents and for weeks after Christmas she would wake up so happy and run and play with them.

Her new laptop

For New Year's eve, Evie and I played some baby games, did puzzles and had our chips& dip. She actually made it to midnight and we watched the ball drop! Silly kid.

Watching the ball drop

Happy 2015 everyone. Hope everyone had a great time in 2014 and here's to 2015!
