Evie's 1st Easter

Today Evie and me had our own little Easter. Earlier at my place we tried to dye some eggs. As I said before she was a great helper. She "helped" by banging the eggs and spilling some dye. Her little hands are fast as lighting! But hey that's what little babies do.

Today I dressed her in one of my baby dresses, so cute! I got her a pink and yellow Easter basket with a little lamb and bubble wand. Today was super nice and we hung out on the patio in her little rocker. She loves outside so much and fell asleep in the warm sun. She did start out the day a tad fussy but after outside time and her nap she was in a much better mood. I am really glad that I got to come see her.

Evie Time

Today Evie got to come over to my place. It was like Christmas morning! I was up all last night getting everything cleaned up and read. Plus these last 3 weeks I have been Evie proofing my place. Easier said then done, by the way.

She took a bubble bath , dyed Easter eggs and terrorized the cats. Some day she will understand the word pet nice, lol. The kitties spent most the time staying away from this strange creature. She was a great little egg dyeing helper. Before I could stop her she knocked over the yellow dye container. And she loved the eggs because they were the perfect size for her little hands and were easy to bang on the table.

I was glad to have her back in her rightful home. It was hard when she left but I know she'll be back. Plus I get to see her Thursday and we will take Easter pictures.

Evie Madness

So this week I have finally started my normal 4pm to 10pm shift at Massage Envy. And just that will wear a person out, 5 hours of massaging is no picnic. But also this week I got to spend tons of time helping with Evie. We went to the park and then one of my friends came to visit and then I got to have several over nights with Evie. So most of this week I have been leaving Tarzan's place, running to my place and then to work and then back to see Evie.

This has been an awesome week and I haven't had time to be bored or my mopey self but at the same time, very busy. Tonight I am gonna get some sleep and go to work and then come back and work on my baby gate, gotta Evie proof.I am so excited to baby proof because it means Evie is coming to visit! On Tuesday's and Thursdays she gets to come over. The best part is that Tuesdays I have off, so hopefully since Tarzan isn't that busy those will become awesome Evie days.

So I would say overall things are pretty good. Can't wait for Saturday, as always.

Feeding time!

Evie at the Park

Today all three of us went to the park! It was 75 degrees here today and sunny. These are the days that I love and can not stand to be inside. So at 3pm I met Evie and Tarzan over at Stephens Park Lake. We used to live right by this park and I miss it a lot. It's got great trails going around the lake and is just a very pretty park. There were also a lot of people out with their babies too.

Evie got to ride in my stroller I found her back in January. She just loves feeling the wind and cruising along. We stopped for a bit and let her explore the grass but then she tried to eat it. After that she decided she didn't want to ride in her stroller anymore and wanted to be held.

Over all a great Friday. And I get to see here tomorrow. Plus one of my friends is coming up tomorrow to visit too. Can't wait!

I think the sun is in her eyes

Evie Update

All is going well and survived court. We now have a fair parenting plan in place that gives Tarzan temporary custody of Evie until I get a mental health assessment. I get to see Evie Tuesday and Thursday noon-2 and Saturday 1-5. The noon to 2 visits are going to be at my place, yay, but supervised by this DFS lady (oh boy). It is a double edged sword but she has to take notes, perhaps she can see that I love my baby.

Yesterday Tarzan had enrolled Evie in a infant massage class. I have been wanting to do infant massage even before having a baby and hope to specialize in this and prenatal massage. Evie enjoyed it for the most part but then got fussy. But I did her legs and feet. Guess that was good enough because then she had to go go. She has tons to do.
She didn't want to stay on her back long.

Evie after her massage, she feels great!

And tomorrow I am off and it is going to be super nice out! I just got off the phone with Tarzan to see if we could all go to the park tomorrow. We will see how that goes.

Also a special thanks to all my family and friends and their help in getting baby things. Also the free section in craigslist is a big help.

So far everything is going good and getting better, I hope it stays that way.

The Facts of Life

Name: Becky Divine
Age: 24
I am: A new mom
My story: My baby was stolen from me 3 months and 8 days ago.
Reason: Supposedly fear for Evie's safety.
Due to: My openly honest postpartum depression problems, which I was being treated for.
By whom: DFS ( of sorry I forgot they changed their name to Children's Division after being associated with too much negativity)
I had to: Sign a parenting plan giving me only 2 hours a week with her. I was told by Tarzan if I took Tarzan to court then all the awful things that I said about Evie would come out. (Oh by the way those things I said were what every stressed out mom would say)
What I have learned so far: NEVER trust DFS (no brainer right)
I have been: Betrayed by my best friend/ boyfriend. I deeply trusted him and openly told him about my PPD because it scared me.
I know: That I have to fight for my baby.
I will not: Give Tarzan full custody.
I am feeling: Lost and alone. I want Tarzan back even after everything. I am just so sad.
I will: Pick myself up and fight. And move onward!
Court is Monday at 1:30pm
